At least eight works, 1985–1987. Including the complete Those who stay and those who must go lithograph series (1987) and related works on paper. The 1987 lithograph edition was printed at Muka Studio, Grey Lynn, Auckland.
Marching Girls — pencil and acrylic on paper, 570 × 780 mm. Purchased 1982.
The earliest confirmed institutional acquisition of Radford's work.
(Take a Walk in the) Land of Shadows — acrylic on canvas, 1255 × 1470 mm, 1985. Purchased from the Goodman-Suter Biennale 1986 with the Goodman-Suter Fund.
The Suter's description cites Philip Guston as an influence and identifies the title as from the Talking Heads song "Memories Can't Wait" (1979).
Fifteen works, 1982–2010. The largest institutional holding, spanning nearly three decades of Radford's career. Includes paintings in acrylic, oil, and mixed media on canvas, paper, aluminium, and board.
Prodigal Child (2010), in Hardcote over polystyrene, is on permanent outdoor display in the sculpture garden at Pah Homestead. Free entry.
Multiple acquisitions, 1984–2011. The Trust acquired Radford's work across a period of twenty-seven years, the longest continuous collecting relationship with any single institution.
