Paul Radford 1957–2024
A New Zealand painter whose work spans four decades of solo and group exhibitions, from Barry Lett Galleries in 1978 to Headland Sculpture on the Gulf in 2015. His paintings and sculpture are held in the collections of Te Papa Tongarewa, Christchurch Art Gallery, the Suter Art Gallery, the James Wallace Arts Trust, and the Arts House Trust. He worked in parallel as a scenic artist in the New Zealand film industry, with credits including An Angel at My Table, King Kong, and Spartacus.
